The entire schedule for the 10th TCM Classic Film Festival has been released. The festival runs April 11-14th in Los Angeles, CA in several venues including the Egyptian Theatre, TCL Chines Theatre IMAX, and ArcLight Cinemas’ Cinerama Dome.
Film preservationist and director Kevin Brownlow will receive the Robert Osbourne Award on April 13th before the screening of It Happened Here (1964).
Dozens of films will be screened during this 4-day film festival – and all of them will include a special introduction. There’s no shortage of special guests scheduled to attend many of these screenings. Meg Ryan, Billy Crystal, and Rob Reiner will be at a screening of When Harry Met Sally (1989), Shirley Maclaine and Robert Harling will be there for Steel Magnolias (1989), and Angie Dickinson is scheduled to appear at screenings for Ocean’s 11 (1960) and The Killers (1964).
Just a few of the films on the schedule include Dark Passage (1947), Day for Night (1973), Cinerama’s Russian Adventure (1966), A Woman of Affairs (1928), A Patch of Blue (1965), Mogambo (1953), and It Happened Here (1964).
