A few thoughts looking through this list:

The Elephant Man and Raging Bull were both nominated for Best Picture in 1980.

Schindler’s List and The Artist were the only ones to win Best Picture.

All of these films except The Elephant Man were nominated for Best Cinematography. Schinder’s List and Roma won that category.

All of these films were nominated for Best Director. Schindler’s List, The Artist, and Roma all won in that category.

Schindler’s List won the most overall awards on this list with seven.
